What the heck?
I woke up from a stupid-ass dream. Forgot what the main part of it was, but I was clearing out a really crappy-ass apartment when I was heading to the balcony where the stairs were. But the part that stuck in my head for no reason was some song on a nearby radio played to a banjo of all things. And I only remember that it was about "Agrathena". Never hearing of a name like that before, I went to look it up online after I woke up. And yes, at one point in time there was such a name. But no reference to a weird-ass song. Making it odd that I'd hear such a song in a lame-ass dream. So that aspect of the dream makes no sense, yet I remember it. So what the heck?
As for the cicada tinnitus from before? It went away after I laid off the Mt.Dew. I figure it was probably the right combination of excessive amounts of caffiene, high-fructose corn syrup, and sodium benzoate that did it. So I'll stick with less potent soft-drinks from now on...

Not too productive lately.
Not sure why, but lately my brain feels like a useless gellified globule. Go figure. So my creativity has bottomed out until something can get it going again. Could be related to the way I'm virtually anonymous and invisible when it comes to job prospects. Nobody's paying attention, so things just goes on by mostly unseen.
I suppose if the weather was nicer, this would be a good time to go hiking. Either that or see about dusting the cobwebs off the bicycle in the garage. Maybe I'll video some footage of the Amstutz, might try some compositing work later using that... Oh wait, need new batteries for the camera first. Oh wait, need money for new batteries. Oh wait, need a job for money. Bleh.

Temporal DX Observation Weirdness...
If I could use some kind of temporal technology to make an effective pinhole camera into the distant past for observation, I'd be considerate enough to not use a flash. (Even if it means not being able to see anything.) It's annoying to whoever in the past is being observed. Also, do you really want to see what some historic figure does in their own privacy? Geez, have some kind of common courtesy. I'm sure someone would think it'd be neat to see Jesus, Lincoln, Tesla, Edison, or whoever - but really - there are times when they *should* be left alone. Ok?

Eight dimensions...
Bored and pondering something... Some article about eight dimensional space possibly giving a clue to the theory of everything. So what eight dimensional sets could possibly be used to define anything thought of...
Spatial dimensions:
1. up-down (height)
2. in-out (depth)
3. left-right (width)
4. past-future (time)
Reaction dimensions:
5. light-heavy (mass)
6. attractive-repulsive (charge?)
7. inert-energetic (heat, relative velocities, spin, etc.)
8. nonresponsive - responsive (degree of being alive or conscious?)
The thing is that these dimensions can be thought of as nodes. Each node would contain a long array of potential values. Each value could then set drive relationships affecting all values in each node. And of course each node would respond in kind to what information is coming from the other nodes. Some other qualities we think of as unique might be a combination of nodes interacting such as inertia (mass + energy), gravity (mass + charge).
Also note that some dimensions could cancel out due to interactions with other nodes (maybe there's no anti-gravity because of an energetic relationship between mass and charge that zeros it?), and in other cases initially having a dimension of 0 could make just as much sense. (Ideas or memes can occupy time and energy, but no real space.) Likewise an idea that defines something could be made tangible by applying mass towards it. (Someone may think of a car, but there's no car until someone builds it.) But that's some of the craziness that makes up this universe. Who knows?
