A thought on anapolar dark matter

It sounds a bit like aether or phlogiston, but if anapolar dark matter is a thing, then wouldn't it be possible to exploit the hysteresis effect as part of a reaction drive?

This is really cool though, because if dark matter is spread out and doesn't normally interact with regular matter, exploiting hysteresis on the anapolar moment would give a lot of free reaction mass you wouldn't have to carry with you. You create a specific field to exploit the predicted geometry of the fermion, and then like an electric motor you get pushback via the field in accordance with Newton's 3rd Law. In other words, if this can be used for space travel, things would get a whole lot easier.
